  Advik Amit Agrawal from Maharashtra is already one of the most accomplished young chess players in India. At just 11, he has combined exceptional results at the junior level with performances against much stronger opposition, steadily building a reputation as a player with both talent and remarkable competitive maturity.
  Advik was National Under-9 Champion in 2023 and followed that with a silver medal at the National Under-11 Championship in 2024 and bronze in 2025. He also won medals at Asian Youth Championships across classical, rapid and blitz formats.
  In 2026, his progress reached another level. At the Baku Open, Advik secured his first International Master norm, crossed the 2400 Elo mark and gained more than 100 rating points in a single tournament. His performance included victories over titled players and draws against several International Masters, underlining his ability to compete far beyond the junior circuit.
  He continued that outstanding run at the 39th National Under-11 Championship in Mangaluru, where the top-seeded Advik finished third with 8.5/11, adding yet another National medal to his growing collection.
